A very good vegetarian friend of mine introduced me to Puranmal. He swears by Puranmal and thinks it’s the best thing since sliced bread.
I had never really tried it until recently. I was hungry while filling petrol and we decided to try it out. I was craving vada pav but to my shock and horror (I can be overly dramatic when I am hungry) they didn’t have it.
The closest alternative was a veggie cutlet instead.
To be honest it was really good and tasted much like vada pav. We also ordered the samosa chaat which was delicious.
The chick peas where perfectly cooked and the spicy sauce that it came in very tasty, I love the texture of the samosa immersed in the sauce. Its crispy yet slightly soggy but with the maintained crispiness. Really good. Although these are merely snack type foods they are considerably filling.
I ordered the burfi for desert. It was too soft and too bland for my liking, not at all firm and rich as I am used to.
Service ok and value for money for sure.
