The old Quarter Hanoi, offers a vibrant extremely buzzing atmosphere and a huge melting pot of various tourists. Its characterized by a variety of pubs, bars, restaurants and ice cream parlors, tempting street food vendors all within a walking distance. MK Premier Hotel, a boutique hotel is situated right slap bam in the middle of it all the frenzied madness.
There is a lovely outside bar area where you can unwind with a cool beer watching the business go by.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mo, the friendly receptionist, who was extremely helpful when we bombarded her with a thousand questions. She gave us tips on what to do, where to eat, where to go and all her recommendations were on point. Needless to say, check-in was smooth and we were served refreshing sparking juice and given warm towels on arrival. Mo showed us to our room and had organized a cake for us since it was our honeymoon.
We stayed in a junior suite which was smaller than it looked on the website. I found the room pretty standard and average but nice- the bed was very comfortable and very cosy.
The room has a TV, mini bar and complimentary water. The hotel walls are pretty thin, I could hear everything in the corridors and adjacent rooms.
The hotel has free wifi access throughout which is great. In case you are looking for some relaxation they have a lovely spa and a discount if you are a hotel guest.
They a lovely rooftop bar with a city view, there is also a restaurant where breakfast is served. Breakfast was a spread of delicious continental food which I enjoyed thoroughly.
I loved the very friendly service from the hotel staff. They accommodated our every request and made sure we were comfortable during our entire 3 day stay.
Fantastic location and excellent service. Great food and lovely roof top bar. Although the room was nice, I think it should have been a little cheaper than what we paid. Overall rating: 3.5/5
