This quaint cafe situated just across the road from City walk really does live up to its name, it really is pretty. The cafe opened its doors about a year and a half ago so still pretty new and fresh. Its filled with floral motifs and is very classy and intimate. Although perfect for tea and cake, the cafe has a great menu with delicious mains, sandwiches and salads. I visited the cafe on two occasions, the first being for dinner and the second for a bridal shower afternoon tea. Both times left a great impression on me.
I had the tropical spicy mojito on both occasions, it makes for a great refreshing drink with a kick. To eat, my friend and I shared a beef wrap with avo and a quinoa butternut squash salad. Both were packed with flavour and scrumptious. My other friend had the lobster crepe which she thoroughly enjoyed and wouldn’t share lol.
When I visited the cafe again for the high tea, the table was sprinkled with petals and small vases of flowers . The afternoon teas cost AED119 and can be shared between two. The assortment is made up of canapes, cakes and pastries, sandwiches and crepes which comes with a pot of your selected tea. The assortment was good especially the scones, the thing I didn’t enjoy was the chicken sandwich which was a tad dry.
We had a floral bouquet making session by Maria who taught us how to make a simple flower arrangement. She’s so great at flower arranging. The cafe also sells various flower arrangements.
The presentation of the meals was impeccable and the service simply perfect and efficient. Our waiters Suraj and Chris were amazing. The place is great value for money and truly is a hidden gem. I definitely recommend this place and will be back soon. Keep up the great work guys.
