Grand Eastin Hotel- Saigon, Vietnam

Eastin Grand Hotel was our home away from home for the three nights we were in Saigon. It is situated on the main road of Nguyễn Văn Trỗi  fifteen minutes away from the heart of Saigon and ten minutes from the Airport. Talk about location location location. The hotel has a grand entrance with a dedicated door men , the elegant chic modern decor marks the hotel truly a 5 star hotel that I would be calling home.

Check in ran like clockwork and and we had our keys in under five minutes. The staff were very accommodating despite our late arrival and were more than happy to point out the highlights of the hotels making us well acquainted with our new surrounds.  Concierge was on point and helped us to our room very swiftly.

We stayed in a Deluxe suite which was fairly spacious and impressive, with its dark wood furnishings. I had a

beautiful nights rest on the oh so comfy and fluffy bed. The room has a TV, mini bar and plenty storage space in a mirrored cupboard with a safe and gowns and slippers. The minibar selection was limited, I wish they had more variety in snacks though…like I need my chocolate fix all the time so more chocolate would be great.

I absolutely loved the folding doors leading into the bathroom. The bathroom had a huge rain shower which I loved. The bathroom had fresh towels and very well stocked vanity goodies.

The room overlooked the pool which was gave us a lovely view.

The hotel has free wifi access throughout so you can rest assured you will always be connected. They also have a free shuttle bus that runs five times a day to the city center. They have a lovely spa and a boutique store and even a travel desk should you wish to book a tour. There are also private taxis conveniently stationed outside the hotel should you wish to use one.

They have numerous dining options but breakfast was served in the main restaurant on the Ground floor each day. Breakfast was a spread of continental and asian cuisines which catered to everyone. They had a pho station where you could create your own yummy soup. The breakfast was top class and ends at 11:30am for those sleeping beauties who like to sleep in without worrying they’ll miss out.

They have a really cool bar with lovely spacious seating and happy hour from 5 onwards, unfortunately we were out most nights so we didn’t get to experience it.

The service was extremely attentive and responsive. I found everyone so helpful and made sure all our needs were taken care of. The only concern I had was with the cleanliness of the carpets at the entrance and close to the lift which looked a little worn out and dirty.

Overall Verdict

Reasonably priced and located and offering superb service and convenience. This place is great for a comfortable luxurious stay. Definitely 4/5!!
