Lovely Laerton Hotel in Tbilisi Georgia

The one thing I look forward to when travelling is a home away from home. For me that means sheer comfort, convenience and great customer service.  So with that, coming to a hotel where I can collapse and dissolve into after a long day of touring is a nonnegotiable. Laerton Hotel would be our home for 5 nights so we wanted to make sure we had the best.

Laerton Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel situated in Old Tbilisi, a walking distance from all the major tourist attractions making it really tourist friendly and convenient. The hotel opened its doors in 2014 and has 34 rooms. Upon entering the hotel, you are greeted by a friendly concierge and walk into a beautifully lit and spacious lobby. IMG_3238

We were shown into our terrace room on the 6th Floor. Our room was simply lovely, spacious and just as pretty as the pictures on the website. We had a terrace room with gorgeous mountain and city views.IMG_3109 We were really impressed.  The room was well equipped with hair dryer, towels, the most comfortable queen sized bed, TV, reading arm chair, stocked bar fridge and a cupboard with a safe to keep your belongings and blankets if you get cold. IMG_4331Most importantly, let’s not forget about WiFi, there is connectivity throughout the entire hotel so you don’t have to worry about missing out.

We stayed next door to the “Elioni Veranda” which is where we had breakfast each morning. A continental breakfast buffet was served each morning with the standard scrambled eggs, beef sausages and mushroom, oatmeal as well as a different traditional scrumptious Georgian dish that was served each morning.

There was also bread and pastries and cheeses. There are also fresh juices, freshly brewed coffee and tea available to perk you right up.

The restaurant had both indoor and outdoor seating, with splendid views. There are no guesses where we would be sitting.IMG_3166IMG_3208 I enjoyed each morning and savoring the delicious breakfast while sipping on my cuppa. IMG_3619The restaurant manager Tamara was simply fantastic, efficient, so friendly and helpful and was able to accommodate our needs.

I noticed a very international mix of guests, a lot of the guests at breakfast were business people staying at the hotel. The hotel staff is exceptionally friendly and efficient and were very helpful. I loved that they spoke great English which can sometimes be a challenge while traveling.

The hotel also offers conferencing facilities and a lobby bar where you can indulge and is open until midnight daily. They also have a venue hall that can be hired out for events. There is also room service available for those days you feel like lazing around the hotel.

I really recommend Laerton as the perfect hotel due to its exceptional hospitality, excellent comfortable rooms and amenities and its convenient location, which were well worth the price. They also offer city tour packages, however I felt that they were a bit on the pricey side. Otherwise Fabulous Hotel!!
