We were wandering around Disco G (Discovery Gardens), in search of a chai place (indian tea) when we stumbled across this modest bustling eatery at the end of the block. My curiosity got the better of me as I followed the delicious aromas that filled the air. .Our hunt for chai had now been hijacked by these tantalizing aromas.
The restaurant is modest and small with al fresco sitting area where people sat devouring their meals cheerfully. I realized that the smell that drew me in was the sizzling mutton on the grill. We ordered the Mutton buna roll (chapati with mutton filling), which was prepared fresh and tasted all sorts of heavenly.
It was a tad spicy but delicious and portions were generous for only 12 bucks. I am always about good food at value for money and this place offers just that.
I found out they sell all kinds of dishes not only snacks, from biryani, palao, gravies, kebabs, chaats (variety of savoury indian snacks). All of this from this tiny plcae, very impressive. My love for Indian food has really grown, it just tends to be somewhat rich, which can be a threat to my waistline, but as they say, everything in moderation.
