Parkers is the latest craze in Dubai where finding the much coveted key is what gets you in. You will literally not be let in if you don’t have a key. The food truck concept works well in the park, with casual seating and fairy lights.
We were asked for the key upon entering and then showed to a table. We received such a hearty welcoming greeting from Big T , who was very helpful and upbeat the whole evening. Nothing like jovial staff who make patrons feel at home. Thank you Big T.
To eat we ordered the street fries with the truffle sauce. I was a bit skeptical at first but found it delicious decadent creamy and oozing flavor. I couldn’t stop eating the fries. I could eat these all day.
We also had the fried mac and cheese, which is bound to make every mac and cheese fan drool. I particularly didn’t enjoy it as I am not a huge fan of mac an cheese. I found it could have done with a little more cheese added to it.
The Choco X Coffee slider which is made of pure wagyu patty , infused with coffee and white cheddar cheese and choco xcoffee sauce. I was interested to taste this unique combination. The patty was juicy and very fresh, the hint of the coffee, however very slight. I wish it was more pronounced. The beetroot gave it a nice crunch. The buns are unbelievably soft and fresh.
We also had the crispy fried chicken slider. The chicken was perfectly done and I loved the tanginess of the red cabbage.
To drink we had the black lemonade which is basically lemonade with black colouring. I was hoping it would taste different from normal lemonade but it wasn’t. I found it had an overwhelming lemony taste.
And then the lotus dessert stole the show. It tasted a little like a cross between carrot cake and walnut cake, served with warm caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. Truly a spectacle to behold. I literally have never tasted anything like it. It was sinfully divine.
This place is definitely worth a visit, the ambiance is chilled out and so friendly. You have to taste the Lotus cake its amazing.
