Perfectly located on the beautiful yet bustling scenic, The Walk, JBR, this place is perfect for breakfast before heading on out to the beach.
We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. As expected,it was pretty busy with people scrambling for a table. We got seating inside because frankly we were too lazy to wait another 20 minutes for sitting outside plus I was way to famished to wait.
We were shown to a table by a really polite waitress. The interior resembles rustic but modern Parisian décor. I liked it.
The complimentary bread was really fresh and perfectly soft and tasty.
Seeing that capacity was almost at its maximum, I had expected a longer wait for the food.
We were pleasantly surprised when the waiter approached our table with the most colorful delicious looking plates. The food came swiftly after a 10 minute wait.
To drink I had the cappuccino
my friend had the Go bananas smoothie, absolutely delightful
and my other friend the Café Canadian (Espresso with maple syrup served in the cutest cup ever), which was really delicious.
For starters we had the Smoked Salmon Crostini. Quite delicious, the Philadelphia cream cheese was delightful.
I ordered the Veggie Omelet, the presentation was really impressive. I however found my omelet a tad bland and in need of a sprinkle of salt and pepper. They Lyonnais potatoes that accompanied my omelet were out of this world though.
My friend had the Southwest Sunrise, which he enjoyed.
My other friend had the Smoked Salmon Benny. I had a taste of this and it was absolutely one of the most delicious Eggs Benedicts I have had.
Overall great vibe, bustling with people who seemed to be enjoying their meals.
I was generally impressed with the service, which I found efficient and non intrusive. Staff was super friendly and accommodating my many requests.
